Faith Poteat DeFriese was born into Mission work! Founders Jim and Lena Lindley were her grandparents. Even as a young girl, she spent time at the Mission helping including working in the kitchen helping Steve Papa make meatloaf! Her dad, Lindsay Poteat, was called to be the director of PRM when she was 11 years old. She has worked at the Mission since she was 16. Faith received her degree in Accounting and became the Mission's Accountant. Her husband, Alan, became the assistant director in 1999. She has continued working one day a week since their first child was born. Faith loves being a part of the ministry at the Peninsula Rescue Mission and raising her three boys to love it as well!
